One for tonight is: MICHABO (8.25 Sandown) RPF 9/1....took 14/1 with William Hill 5pts EW Best form of any in the field. Fact it is a front runner should be an advantage in a big field like this and, if allowed to dictate, should be hard to catch. Has been running in Grade 2 races and now back down to Grade 4. It was 2nd lto off 84 but in class 2 like you say, today goes off 85 and won this last yr off 79. I like to watch horses dropping in class and I am following two of the horses from this yard (Hernando Royal and Apply Dapply). Good trainer/jockey partnership. I'm having small ew on it and small rev fc with Tannenberg which ran well at Ponty on Friday and is interesting only 6 days later under a penalty Certainly has place claims. IMO if it stays, it has a chance of placing. Draw could be the drawback but having Murtagh in the saddle is a huge plus. HALA BEK 5pts EW at 14/1 with William Hill Only 1 career run but couldn't have been more impressive. Missed run in Dante but will come here fresh and trainer in cracking form. Stable in form and sure to improve massively from its debut, the form has also been franked by runner up King of Argos winning handsomely the other day. Ran over C&D which is an advantage on this tight track and it is expected to improve on its 1st run of the season. Bigger field likely to suit, and should settle better.
