No thread already for today?? Oh well. I wont take too long analysing this matchup because it really should explain itself. PIT @ STL PIT 5-15, 1-9 road, 2-8 last 10, losing streak of 4 STL 11-7, 6-3 home, 6-4 last 10, losing streak of 1 Previous meetings: STL 2 PIT 1 STL 4 PIT 12 STL 4 PIT 0 PEREZ (PIT) 1-2 , 6.75 ERA CARPENTER (STL) 2-1 , 1.67 ERA Those stats sum the game up rather well. Perez faced STL 6 days ago and limited them to 5 hits and 3 runs over 6 1/3 innings. This may well be to STL's advantage though as seeing the same pitcher in a week means theyll know what pitches to be looking out for. When Carpenter faced PIT last week he allowed just 2 hits and no runs over 8 innings. He has only given up 1 run in his last 22 innings over 3 starts. He has 5 pitches all working great for him right now which means he's able to mix it up whenever he likes. Im taking two bets tonight. STL to win and STL to score over 5 runs. They havnt been hammering them home recently but its surely only time until the rest of the lineup starting firing. Even if they dont, Pujols could do it alone the form hes in. STL to win (-1.5) 1.87 @ Pinnacle 8/10 STL to score more than 5 runs 2.10 @ Pinnacle 8/10

Re: Mlb 24/4 NYM @ SF NYM 12-6, 5-2 road, 5-5 last 10, losing streak of 1 SF 10-8, 4-2 home, 5-5 last 10, losing streak of 1 Glavine (NYM) 2-1, 1.38 ERA Cain (SF) 0-2, 6.75 ERA Glavine has allowed one earned run in his last 16 inning, this a homerun to the onform Andruw Jones of the Braves. Glavines control has been great this season, backed up by 16 strikeouts in his last two outings. Cain seems to have good stints during the game but its always when will he collapse, not if. He hasnt made it past the 5th inning n his last two starts. The Mets have only one 3 of their last 14 games ain San Francisco. Saying that though, a win for Glavine would make it his 20th against the Giants, the sixth team for him to hit that figure against. NYM to win (-1.5) 2.44 @ Pinnacle 7/10
