Reasoning	Has by far the best form in the race. He was 2nd in a Grade 2 on boxing day, and also 2nd in the Fred Winter handicap at the Cheltenham Festival last month and the winner of that race won yesterday at Plumpton, so the form of that race looks solid. A drop in class to this conditions race today should secure a win.

Reasoning	Only 6 runners for this class 3 handicap hurdle and all of Flotta's five rivals come here off the back of a poor run, wheras Flotta has won his last two. The was a valid excuse last summer when he finished 5th on his hurdles debut but has since won two novice hurdle races in good style and will improve from that experience & in my opinion is a handicap good thing here.

Reasoning	Has best hunter chase form in the race. Four wins in a row in same class this season, then stepped up in class to finish 6th of 30 in the Aintree Foxhunters won by Katarino (class 2 race). Drops down in class again today and this field doesn't look that strong. Jockey gets on well with the horse, has won over the distance. Hard to beat.

Reasoning	Probably needed the run from ten month break when losing to one of todays rivals General Striker at this track in Feb by 26 lengths. But showed an improved performance to finish 2nd in the Foxhunters at the Cheltenham Festival last month. This is a much weaker race and most of the field last ran in a Point-To-Point. First Down Jets won this race last year, has a very good man on board here and should go close to repeat last years win in this race.
