Guest steve1966
Don't normally bet on the horses but after a pretty good week on the footie coupon I decided to have a small lucky 31 on the horses. After carefully selecting my 5 nags, I placed the bet and left the betting shop. 1st horse won at 6/4, Marisitimo. 2nd and 3rd horses were both non-runners. 4th horse lost and the 5th was also a non-runner. Basically I had wasted my time. 3 non runners out of 5. Maybe its better to give midweek racing a miss when the prize money is poor and leave it till the weekend when the same horses suddenly make a guest appearance. Aykay1
Midweek Racing dont throw the slip mate u will get some winnings back for that. You will get paid on the winner at 6/4 about 5 times. Its hard to explain - hopefully someone will do a better job of it than me but basically you have a fourfold winner, and about 5 trebles. Due to the non runners it is in effect 6 singles @ 6/4. Seen2001
Midweek Racing It was probably down to the rain that we had so many NRs Steve, rather than the fact it is a weekday.
Tulenos
Midweek Racing You're right aykay - a NR settles @ odds of 1.00 and therefore it's not a loser - the same applies to abandoned footy matches, btw (supposing they are not replayed within 24 hours or a stipulated period of time).
