Last week they beat the Highlanders and have taken both the Crusaders and Brumbies close on this trip. Can they lift for the last game ? IMO they can and I like the look of the 12.5pt start @ 1.45 especially with the bit of rain that has been lingering in Wellington the past few days. Forecast is for it to clear this afternoon but still feel these conditions will help to make it close. The Blues got a good result last week and should take new found confidence across the Tasman for this weeks game. Although the Waratahs may appear stronger at this stage I still have serious doubt over their front row and scrummaging in general. Therefore with the Blues capable of an upset IMO the 12.5 start @ 1.48 will do me. The Cheetahs have been the surprise package of the comp for me to date and with the Reds looking even weaker with Latham and Flatley out are deserved favourites. Nothing to excite me in the HTH or margin but the HT/FT @ 1.75 has some value. I'm leaving the Brumbies/Chiefs game as the odds look about right. Still hoping the Chiefs get up though. The Highlanders still look a little unconvincing to me this year although I can't put my finger on exactly why. The team they have listed for tomorrows game is not their strongest and even though the Cats have looked ordinary they may surprise in this last road trip game and I will back them to cover the 16.5 start. In the last game the Force have a 14.5 start on the Bulls. The big unknown is how well will the Bulls travel. They deserve on form to date to be heavy favourites but I will be leaving this game alone on the betting front.
