Was able to put in a good win a short time ago and can do the same here. Can handle the tack and ground but the distance is still in question. The distance is the question fro Sonnengold but its jockey is not in bad form coming into this. Was well clear from its last win and that’s enough to think it can last this trip. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Maktavish Tried (trained) in two Class 2 races in its latest tries. The last was a finish of 4th out of 7. Was beaten by <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Bayeux, Qadar, and Fyodor where the first two have won their races after all raced together while Fyodor have not raced since the win. Maktavish is likely to follow in the gallops of Bayeux and Qadar with a win today. Maktavish is also being ridden by the same jockey from the last race. Wondersobright Can handle the going and the rest of the field does not look too strong from looking at their performances. Might be able to also handle this type of track from experience from IRE. While it’s last run could have been better in not made a mistake 2 out. Hopefully this can turn in a mistake free ride and have the rest of the field have problems with the ground. Diklers Rose The only thing I fear from Sabreflight is that Wetherby is the last track its trainer has its last win (Feb. 4) It’s also Johnson’s lone runner today but all runners on that’s ran on tighter tracks have not been good. Diklers last run was this track from the same distance but had to go against lesser number of runners. It did prove to be able to handle pressure to win when defeated Ile Maurice by only half length.
