Southwell 13:30 - Spencer's ride

Does anyone know anything about J P Spencer's ride in this race? Horse is called Chamarel, I think 1st time out for a new trainer and it seems to be one of only two entries for Spencer (along with Bold Phoenix in the last) at Southwell today. Doesnt seem to have a decent history of runs, so therefore a decent price. Just wondering why Spencer would have chosen it..... My first post on the forum by the way... although I have been reading for some time... so hello to everyone !!

Re: Southwell 13:30 - Spencer's ride :welcome JBeau to PL :ok yes, definitely a strange one and coming up to 600 days without a run. But as usual the jockey booking creates a bit of interest. I`d definitely watch the market before parting with any hard earned. All previous 4 runs have been in middle distances and have been dissapointing, so a race over 5f today isn`t such a big surprise. It`s a race i`ll watch with interest but I doubt I`ll be having any dosh on it.
