French Over / Under 2.5 Goals System

Too many times this season I've predicted over/under 2.5 goals bets wrongly in French divisions, it always seem that the 'Banker' unders often seem to end over. In this system I will be betting the reverse of what I think will happen. For example if I was totally convinced of an under 2.5 bet then for this system I will bet over 2.5 instead. each bet will be 10 point level stakes Bet 1 Caen v Montpellier (7/11/05) Under 2.5 goals @ 1.60 Nordicbet

Re: French Over / Under 2.5 Goals System .... might be a good move Meatman.I formulate Power Ratings each week, and without doubt, Le Championnat is the most difficult to predict.More often than not, the formbook goes out of the window.Last two weeks for example there have been only 3 correct from the 10 matches, so maybe this backs up your thoughts on this.Cheers.:unsure

Re: French Over / Under 2.5 Goals System Meatman...I don't do this bet on the fixed odds market....but have you thought about laying what your original prediction was, on the exchanges, (betfair?), instead of backing the opposite result? There may be better value, though I must admit I have never compared this strategy of lay or back with overs/unders. E.G., lay overs Caen v Montpelier, may be better value than backing unders. I know that it is the 'same' thing, either way, but might be worth a look. Just a thought..............:) GL, anyway. :ok :hope

I don't think I'll be that way off with predictions and what im genarally looking out for is over 2.5 odds at around 2.70-3.0 that win cheers guys :hope

Re: French Over / Under 2.5 Goals System actually it is worth checking as you may get a better profit sometimes by laying the other option rather than betting - just depends what the odds are (obviously) but I've done this on betfair many times.... When there are just 2 outcomes (ie over/under) it is a lot easer and very quick to work out. It's just free money if it comes in!

Re: French Over / Under 2.5 Goals System sorry for the SPAM if I have understood correctly the idea of this system , you are betting opposite of what you think ... how you know what you think and what its right , isn't it a bit confusion ?I had the same idea on my mind but I found a better solution ... :) provoke somebody to tell you what he thinks about the matches(but do not tell him the purpose ) muhahahz then just turn them over .... most of the times it works ... I started with this strategy few days ago ... just copying what's predicted by the tipsters (from one site I would not mention here ) and then betting the opposite.The result for now is a lil bit over but its better lil bit over than less :) so today's pick were

yeah correct I bet against the opposite of what I think. most wekends I will probably have about 6-7 proper over/under predicitons in each of French Ligue 1 & 2 - so in this system I will bet the opposite of what I predict for the remaining games for this system I just bet over because this is france and most games should technically end with under 2.5 in them.
