Good morning all.

An 11/2 advised winner (returned 7/1) made it another good day yesterday.

Do feel got the forecast ground wrong at Newbury and my selections there were probably all beaten before they had even run yesterday. Still we live and learn and today may also be quite tricky to ascertain ground conditions as I find whenever the word "to" is used in described going reports you can never be totally sure how the ground will ride.

Here are my selections for today with brief summaries :

Ludlow 3.00 IRONED OUT e/w @ 10/1 (B365)  2 places ** NON RUNNER **

Wincanton 3.10 CLOUD DANCER e/w @ 8/1 (B365)  4 places (rev. f/cst with Gustoso / small single cover) (rev f/cst pays 37/1 and 32/1 with B365 respectively)

Wincanton 3.45 KATATE DORI @ 9/4 (cheeky rev f/cst with Collectors Item pays 33/1 amd 51/1 with B365 respectively).

Wincanton 3.45 COLLECTORS ITEM e/w @ 20/1 (generally)  3 places  (*ADDITIONAL*)

3.00 Ascending Lark will be very tough to beat but hope selection provides some each way value.

3.10 Gustoso is best handicapped but have slight niggly doubt about the ground for it, hope Cloud Dancer will benefit if that the case.

3.45 To complete the bet 7 year old at bottom of weights very difficult to ignore, be interested to see how Collectors Item goes after a fair effort over a bit further last time out.
