Great day yesterday with winners at 13/2 and 7/1, also an each way second and an oh so near reverse forecast (gutted).

So on to today and Punchestown where there seems very little to recommend as a value wager with fancies horses generally way too short for me to advise and certain things going against others.

The only thing I will do today which is probably foolish is take on Salvator Mundi in the 2.25. 

Yes, he may stroll in and is obviously Willie Mullins number one soldier with Paul Townend on board but he has to prove that 242 days off the course is not a problem for him.

I am more interested in Kel Histoire and Sky Lord who should be peachy keen fit for this contest and should not be totally inconvenienced by the forecast ground. At the prices I will chance a small play in the race against the current odds on favourite.
