Is there anywhere that explains the actual line by line arithmetical details of how Betfair arrives at its Liability and the Cash Out figure and the Profit figure ?

I laid the Draw on Man City v West Ham this afternoon and the Cash Out announcement appeared frequently.

Is the total stake money reduced in value by the Cash Out figure being successful ?….so that the Stakes are eventually reduced to zero by the Cash Outs being successful ?

It showed this:

Liability: £4.30   Cash Out £5.15  Profit: £0.85

I didn’t know whether I should accept the Cash Outs as the game progressed because I don’t know how a successful Cash Out affects the Stake Money.

Would be grateful for comment. Thank you.

I'll give the short answer which is do not use the auto cash-out feature as you'll lose money compared to cashing out yourself.
