StevieDay1983 Posted yesterday at 08:02 AM Share Posted yesterday at 08:02 AM A level of consistency has now hit the Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League. @patriciamarc remains on top of the table after bringing in a solid 70 points this week. The lead at the top has now extended to 32 points ahead of second-placed @dwikyeddo. The action now resumes after the international break and it'll be interesting to see if Lucas FC can maintain their momentum at the summit. Congratulations to @Dean77's Darwin Haalose for winning the Manager of the Week award. It was a sterling effort with 97 points tallied in what was generally seen as a tricky round for scoring. Dean's decision to captain Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes might have raised an eyebrow heading into the week's action but the 34-point return shut up the critics. At the other end of the spectrum, it was a tough week for a few teams who struggled to break the 20-point mark. The lowest score of the week was shared by two teams that only just got past that total with 21 points each. Pete Brand's Brand United were the one side that achieved infamy this week. It could've been a lot worse had the Tottenham duo of Son Heung-min and Pedro Porro not got 4 points apiece. Greg Whitehouse's The Tricksters were the other team finishing with that score. They were saved from a sub-20 score by the 6 points Liverpool centre-back Virgil Van Dijk delivered. The action is back this week after a two-week break for international matches. The deadline for transfers is 11am UK time on Saturday 23rd November. Best of luck to you all!
