Haven't had time to post too much over here for the last couple of weeks as I've been occupied with some other matters, but anyway I feel there could be some decent value to be had here as many of the big names are making their return to the ATP scene for the first time since the US Open. To get us started, here's a little treble that I fancy. ;) 10pts Zabaleta-Kim-Soderling Treble (3.80 @ William Hill) Kim and Soderling from Thailand Open, Zabaleta from Palermo Open. Soderling should beat Vik as the Swede is no doubt a technically more competent player whose powerful groundstrokes should trouble Vik enough to put the Czech out of contention. One thing I don't understand is how on earth could Kevin Kim start this as an underdog - Wang's record on the ATP this year reads a woeful 2-8 and even though he's won a few Challenger events, there's nothing to suggest those mugs he has beaten at the Challenger level are remotely close to the threat Kim could pose today even though the American's no world beater. If anything, Kim should start this as the slight favourite in my book if simply because he has got experience on his side. Lastly, Zabaleta is one of those easily-forgotten claycourt specialist(well, so long as he's not compared to the Puerta, Nadal and Corias of this world) who seems to relish playing on this surface as do so many of his compatriots - he should have too much for the Romanian journeyman Sabau who never made much of an impact at the ATP level until this year's Gstaad. ;) Cheers & Good Luck :ok Starting Bank : 100.00pts Current Bank : 0.00pts Profit/Loss : 0.00pts

Re: 26th Sep - 2nd Oct : ATP Tennis Events (Thailand Open | Vietnam Open | Palermo Open) 20pts Sanguinetti to beat Chela (2.88 @ Betfair) Sanguinetti is available at a cracking price tonight IMO. Chela is a very ordinary player at best, but considering he has a terrible knack of struggling to hold serves, he looks set to be in for a tough battle in what is effectively a battle of attrition against the big serving Italian. Sanguinetti has won the solitary meeting between the pair even though that took place some 6 years ago, but I remain convinced he still has enough in him to see off a mediocre opponent - the fact he has the crowd on his side will only help him further. In a nutshell, Sanguinetti stands no less than a 50-50 chance in this one and 2.88 for him to nick this is just a cracking price. If anything, there's terrific value on Sanguinetti. Starting Bank : 100.00pts Current Bank : 90.00pts Profit/Loss : -10.00pts
