New NHL season just round the corner - starts 05/10

Just for starters, I haven't gone into much detail and the Pens price to win the whole thing has been slashed due to their crafty moves in the off season (still might look attractive, at least a little bit). Will go into more detail soon (hopefully). The reson I'm posting this, though, is simple. MAJOR CHANGE OF RULES WITH POSSIBLY A VERY DEEP IMPACT ON BETTING.spankie.gif There has been a little revolution in the US and for the upcoming season a no-draw rule has been adopted. This means that after regulation there is the usal 5-min OT and if there is a draw after that, A PENALTY SHOOT-OUT decides. Although I can't see why anything should change betting-wise, it seems no book is sure how to react to the change, At the very moment, most of them are contemplating whether the betting should stay as it is (hnadicaps, moneylines etc.) or whether they would switch to European style and price up the outcomes at the end of regualtion only. So it's best to wait and see what happens, especially if anyone is thinking of opening an account at a US book.crossfingers.gif
