Katerina Siniakova to beat Elisabetta Cocciaretto at 1.80 with William Hill

Although I don't expect much from Siniakova these days, she put in a very competent grass-court performance against Garcia last week, and her playing style is much more suited to the surface than Cocciaretto's, who really is mainly a clay court specialist and who can't easily get rid of those loopy balls she tends to produce. Those tend to get punished big time on grass - Siniakova only has to keep her error count low enough.

WTA Eastbourne - Osorio to beat Rogers 2.32 with Betfair

Osorio has a couple of matches under her belt here after beating  Bucsa and Watson in qualifying. Rogers yet to play on grass and hasn't won a match for two months since beating Bogdan in Madrid. Osorio can hopefully expose Rogers' movement on this surface.

Bad Homburg -  Navarro to beat Cornet - 2.12 with Betfair

Both playing well on grass, Navarro slightly edging it with her final appearance in Ilkley and Cornet having a few fitness problems during some recent matches as her body feels all the tennis she's played over the years. Either could win but with age on her side and at 2.12, Navarro is the pick here.

Eastbourne - Boulter to beat Martic - 1.72 with Betfair

Martic is in rubbish form and has been since Madrid. She's managed to beat a hopelessly out of form Marino and Shelby Rogers. She's making too many mistakes and can't up her game to get out the holes she digs. Boulter on the other hand is in great form. Won the title in Nottingham, SF before that in Surbiton. She lost early last week but that could have been her ME catching up with her. Fully rested now and with the home crowd she should take this.

@Smiles Tennis I honestly didn't like Navarro that much against Podoroska, too many questionable decisions and not playing as well as before, hopefully she does the trick for you, though!

Jelena Ostapenko to beat Petra Kvitova at 2.38 with William Hill

Two tournament winners from the previous week, and I don't really know why Ostapenko is the underdog. Kvitova with more traveling to do and with the age factor as well, I'd much rather be on Ostapenko at above evens.

It is quite a rare thing to see exceptional woman's tennis matches.

Most of the stuff is pretty average. Double faults, unforced errors and a one dimensional game. I have seen 3 excellent matches in the last couple of months. Jabuer v Danilovic (French Open), Jabuer v Muchova (French Open), and the final in Berlin between Kvitova and Vekic. Vekic actually had a big chance second set. Served for it at 5-4 and then lost it in a breaker.

But the tennis in Berlin was top class. Very few unforced errors and exceptional hitting of the ball.  Kvitova in this form will take some beating. Her serve is dynamite, and she has tremendous power off both sides. It is the best I have seen her play in years. For me she destroys Ostapenko today.

Then you compare this match to yesterday's encounter between Pliskova and Mertens. The gap in quality is miles. Pliskova and Mertens played a match of 'worse' and 'worser'. Mertens had 10 double faults in the 1st set, and neither of them could hit the ball.

Pegula has played one match (doubles) on grass and may be a little undercooked for Zheng.  I am also not convinced regarding Boulter v Martic. Boulter won a tournament but you look at the quality of the field and it was weak. (Burrage 131, Watson 195, Dart 143, Snigur 157, Appelton 230+ so very low ranking opponents).

My simple reply is that Ostapenko may destroy anyone. No matter who is her opponent, she is hitting the ball with such power that it is impossible for any WTA player to return.

I am not going strongly on her today, because we are just few days before the Wimbledon, and probably both of players won't give on the court their 100%.

Ostapenko small bet.

I think it is quite a tricky matchup.

Do they care?  I don't think this is important to them. Was just a back up plan if last week failed.

Is one player exhausted from last week and the travel/acclimation?  Maybe, perhaps both slightly tired (more mental than physical).

Do they want a break before WImbledon? YES! They would definitely prefer a rest up, move down to London, and and practise/rest up for the week.

I may take a small bet early, and then lump it on after the 1st set. I cannot see this match going long or 3 sets. Whoever wins the 1st set wins. Thinking about it, for me the pre match bet  is the under 22.5 games at 8 to 10, and a lump on the 1st set winner.

Feliciano Lopez (+3.5) to beat Jordan Thompson at 2.04 with Unibet

Thompson is a massive favorite in this one and it's no wonder, since he's the better player and since he also has a 4-0 record against Lopez or so. And yet, this is Lopez's farewell tournament and he played really well yesterday, so I think that he will go down fighting at the very least. The conditions are definitely to his advantage, and he'll have everyone on his side.

Bad Homburg - Fernandez to beat Blinkova - 1.79 with Betfair

Blinkova's game not suited for grass really, she's been struggling with emotions recently and was seen crying after losing to Avanesyan recently. She struggled against Lisicki and could have lost and I think Fernandez will take this. Leylah has been saying how she doesn't focus on results now, she's putting the work in and as long as she is training well doing things right then the results will come. If things get tight this will help her, and I feel Blinkova will start to worry about losing too much.

Today Marozcan to beat Elias Ymer is something good. Price is wonderful 1.66 offered by bet365.

And again i go in a separate single worth to risk case, Haffmann to beat the only one hand player mister Tsitsipas. Huge price again by 4.33 bet365

Anytime i see Tsitsipas on grass i rate the opponent's probabilities. The German is super server, and he can break the weak Tsitsipas backhand a couple of times, imo.

Tell me something please. Why Tsitsipas continues to use his backhand in such ridiculous way? Are his team of coaches composed by blind men? I think yes, they are blind, and they give me.  the opportunity to risk against him.

Good luck punters!

As a coach you can't just turn a single handed backhand into a two handed one. It will take months , possibly years. It is to do with the reach and the twist of the core muscles. It is like trying to teach a world class swimmer who does breaststroke to now swim olympic standard butterfly.

ST is the  2022y champion here, so that speaks volumes about his dedication today. Personally, wouldn't go against him today, given the fact that he will be 100 % focused.

Varvara Gracheva to beat Lucia Bronzetti at 1.62 with Bet365

Neither player is too comfortable on grass, but it seems to me that Gracheva has adapted to the surface a bit better, and she's also the better player of the two overall in my opinion, much more stable in all respects and usually losing only against better players. She doesn't have that upset factor, mind you, but she won't need it in this match-up.

Eastbourne - Giorgi to beat Osapenko - 2.9 with Betfair

Penko will be getting tired by now with all the tennis she's played in the last 10 days and I think Giorgi is the one to give her some rest. She played great today against Ons, moved well, hard hitting and could force Penko to make the errors she so often does.

Eastbourne - Martic to beat Keys - 2.72 with Betfair

Keys has only reached 2 semi finals in the last 18 months, both on hard court. Martic has not been in great form losing in qualifying but has beaten two in form players as a lucky loser. Martic will get more balls back than Keys' last opponents and will mix it up and not give her the rhythm she likes to hit back with power. Martic also leads the h2h 2-1.

Eastbourne - Gauff to beat Pegula - 1.69 with Betfair

Pegula is Miss Consistent, but Miss Average at the same time. She's only reached a grass QF once in Berlin and despite hitting flat shots she doesn't seem to get on that well on grass. Gauff's game is more suited to grass, she's had two easy wins against mediocre opposition but it's a great chance to go far here and grab some easy points. Pegula has lot her last 4 matches against the current top 10 and also struggles in the wind, and Eastbourne will supply her a nice breeze to make things difficult.

My tip WON.

I must explain why i rated Feliciana or Feliciano Lopez as an operetta. Well, if you bring back Federer, he will win the half players of the current top 100 ranked. As he is now, without practicing at all, just with his tennis attitude. But he would lose to other fifty percent! Sure thing! Because he is lacking training, fitness, and motivation. Federer is wise enough not to continue to play as just an average player losing to anyone passing from his road. Lopez is just a tennis cheater. He continue to plays for money. He won against Thomson who was bored and unmotivated. I watched about 10 minutes of that match, and i said to my self what a joke is this one.

I will teach you  a lot about tennis. So, don't rush to criticize me, because i am well equipped with observation tools

Tomorrow i come here with some new tips! .

WTA Eastbourne - Kasatkina to beat Giorgi - 1.71 with Pinnacle.

Kasatkina is a level above Giorgi and her experience should get her through here. Giorgi has lost 6 of her last 7 semi finals as underdog with her only win coming against Qiang Wang in New York back in 2019. Kasatkina on the other hand is quite reliable. She's 12-9 in SF matches, winning 3 of her last 4 with her last few defeats at this level coming against Jabeur x 2, Swiatek, Badosa (when she was top 10) so a decent standard of player.

Daria has also won 4 of her last 5 SF matches as favourite going back three years and leads the h2h 2-0 against Giorgi.

I can’t take anything you say seriously since you said there’s no such thing as value 😂

Failing to see why is Mcdonald not a huge favourite against Cerundolo? I know he is not a typical clay player, he is quite tall and has a good serve... but still. Anyone else?

McDonald lost to Schwartzman last week on grass. That's a terrible result and whilst this is a new week, Cerundolo is deceptively good on grass despite the perception that he's a clay court specialist.

I suppose Mallorca’s central court is not the fastest grass we have seen, and even slower now after all the matches that have been played there… imo the odds are right

That would make sense... Except they are actually playing in Eastbourne. :)
