StevieDay1983
The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League enters the international window with @Gazza's United's Palmers Allstars slightly extending their lead at the top of the table. It was a tough week for a number of teams with the average points total down low at 33 points due to the FA Cup Quarter-Finals reducing the number of Premier League fixtures being played. Still, Gareth Palmer managed to find a way to get his team to earn 69 points in this tricky week. The decision to captain Arsenal's Bukayo Saka accounted for 36 points on its own! Congratulations go to @sammydubs whose Emptied FC made moves up the table with an impressive 84 point haul. He also got on board the Saka captaincy train but also had decent performances from the likes of Tyrone Mings, Kai Havertz, and Harry Kane to pull off a pleasing points total this week. On the not-so-impressive front, the lowest scores of the week broke season records. In fact, a number of teams failed to even hit double figures this week. Max Parker's Royal Rebellion only managed 9 points. Mark Knight's Intel Football could only gather up 8 points. However, both avoided the shame of the lowest score in this unreal round. The name of shame this week goes to Greg Nash and his Tokyo Rovers team who could only accumulate 6 points! Eric Dier, Kieran Trippier, Wilfried Zaha, and Gabriel Jesus were the only players to earn points for his team in a week to forget. Luckily, Max, Mark, and Greg have a couple of weeks to think about the error of their ways and bounce back. The next deadline for the fantasy football league is at 11am on Saturday 1st April. Good luck everyone! MinellaWorksop
