Home Tourney Software

Palyed in a Tournament in a local pub last week, just 20 of us got together and had a £20 freezout No-Limit game. (Going to be having another on Oct 2nd if anyone is near Leicester.) Started at 2 and lasted nearly all day, the landlord bought 3 sets of Poker Chips and will be donating £100 towards the prize money in future. Also provided Food. Played 3 tables and the last two on each went through to the final table with whatever chips they had. They were using a Demo version of Poker Clock on a Laptop to time the Blinds etc. Just wondered if anyone else uses this or know of anything better. Looks quite good; http://www.pokerclock.net/Default.aspx?tabid=1

Re: Home Tourney Software Whenever I play home games, I use the "Tournament Director", available here: http://www.thetournamentdirector.net It's "Donation-ware", so basically you are allowed to download and use it for free, but if you find it useful then you're supposed to give a donation. It seems to do everything you would want it to do, and is pretty simple to use, so i'd definately recommend it. I've never used Poker Clock, but I can't imagine it being much better than Tournament Director, and certainly not worth spending $40 on. Hope this helps bigokay.gif
