Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Mabell, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. :$ I'll try and answer the questions in your previous post. 1) The unlimited exposure in sell trades. A good point made, Mabell, but the actual probable, (realistic), risk, taking total goal averages, is, based on previous averages, not that 'unlimited'. I don't have the exact figure. but the incidence of 4+ goals matches is low, less than 25%, even though this may sound high, it means that 75% of matches show a profit, or possibly, a small loss, and as the 0-0 result generally wins 2.5 units, you won't lose the equivalent to this unless there is a 5 goal match. And there are more 0-0 matches recorded than 5-0, 3-2 etc. The actual figure for televised matches over 3 goals is 22.6%, in 158 recorded stats for televised Sky matches last season,, and 21% so far this season. There have been only 6 out of the 29 Spreadman's System matches so far with 4+ goals results - 20.6%, and as you can see below, with a staking system, this has so far realised a +£400 profit. 2) Tg's/shirt number correlation. There is a possibility that during the match, substitutions through injury, etc., could mean a higher shirt coming on. This can work both ways - a high number shirt goes off etc. Spread firms are fairly canny, nowadays, and make their profit from the spread difference, so don't need to be too accurate, even though they work from (vast?), data banks of previous stats. to guide them. The system 'A' demands that all televised matches are traded, indiscriminately, so can't do much about high shirts threat, but I do use the 'B' system to weed out the possible potential high scoring games, which in turn, hopefully omits the high shirt number make ups, as well. Last season, shirts sells made 990 points profit, to level stakes, TG's made 614 points, (158 matches). Obviously you will have to take my word on the figures, though I hope to repeat a similar return this season. Last season, Hotshots sells showed a 1022 points profit to level stakes, unbelievable figures, I know, and I suspect they may not be representative, or repeatabe this season. I have been monitoring Hotshots, and for matches 1 to 33, from the season's start, a 220 points LOSS, was recorded, but after matches 34 to the present, the system has touched 'positivity', (+3 !!), and using a staking plan has struggled to make 111 points profit. Reasons? Not sure- maybe spread firms are nominating more accurately the goalscorers, maybe it's the time of the season. I don't know, but what I do know is that Hotshot BUYS would have netted a tidy profit, for the first few weeks. I am about to release my TGM's strategy on the unsuspecting PL'ers, in the next day or so, it's showing a good profit, so far. Look out for it in the 'card counting' (!) thread of mine. BTW, totally agree about spread betting discussion comments..... the more, the better for punters. Anymore Q's, throw them at me...... GL :ok

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match, No. 30, Wigan v Newcastle, Sky Sports Prem Plus, 12.45 k.o., Saturday, 15th October. Apologies for late posting, have been typing out the first post for the brand new 'Spreadmans TGMS' thread. Our stake level rises after our last loss. Sell total goals at 2.4, 10 pounds per goal. Sell total shirt numbers at 34, for 2 pounds per point. Worryingly, some high shirt numbers in this match...Roberts, 30, thankfully Owen and Shearer's shirts are low, 9 and 10, Camara, 7. System 'A' and 'B' trades. I will also be trading in Total Goal minutes in this match, and a small total corners sell. Mr. PR has given this game a rating of 5.5 corners. Bookings - may be a buy, but Wigan's average is only 10, Newcastle, 28. GL :ok :hope

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Result of System Match No. 30, Wigan v Newcastle, 1-0. Another win, but a high shirt count, as the forementioned Roberts (30), scored the only goal. Total goals MU = 1, P/L = +£14 Total shirts MU = 30, P/L = +£8 Total P/L = +£22. :D Previous bank = +£424, (not £426, as posted previously). New bank = +£446. If you followed the mentioned bets: corners -1/2 point, bookings +39 points. My new Total Goal minutes sell system started well with strategies 1, 2 and 4 returning +£70, and strategy 3, a welcome £140, full details on my 'new system starts today' thread. Next match, today at 5.15 p.m.

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Middlesbro' v Portsmouth, Half time, 0-0. Going well at the moment, but closing system 'B' trade now, for a profit. Once again, system 'A' will continue for the full 90 mins. System 'B' : Buy total goals at 1.4, P/L = .9 x £5 = +£4.50. Buy total shirt numbers at 24, P/L = 23 x £1 = +£23. Total system 'B' profit = +£27.50. :D Bank update later. :ok :hope

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Result of System Match No. 31, Middlesbro' v Portsmouth, 1-1. We squeezed out a small profit, greatly reduced by the scorers' high shirt numbers. Here are the numbers.... Total goals MU = 2, P/L = +£2.50. Total shirt numbers = 46, P/L = +£1. Total match P/L = +£3.50. ;) Previous bank = +£446 New bank = +£449.50. Two matches to trade tomorrow, the first is Reading v Ipswich, Sky Sports, 1.30 p.m. Trades posted here in the morning.

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match No. 32, Reading v Ipswich, Sky Sports, 1.30 p.m k.o., Sunday, 16th October. A small profit, yesterday, so stakes remain at the minimum level, which may be just as well, as 2 or 3 goals appear likely. Although there have been 17 matches played so far, since a 0-0 result, (televised Sky Sports English league matches). Sell total goals at 2.6 for £5 per goal. Sell total shirt numbers at 29 for £1 per point. Next traded match is this afternoon, Man. City v West Ham, Sky Sports, 4 p.m. :ok :hope

More goals to come, I fear, so closing trades for system 'B', but 'A' to run ,as usual, for 90 mins. Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match No. 33, Man. City v West Ham, H/T, 1-0. West Ham are hanging on, but a goal glut has to happen in one of our trade matches, soon. I am closing the system 'B' trade again, System 'A' to run. Buy total goals at 2.3 , P/L = +£1 Buy total shirt numbers at 24, P/L = +£6 Total match profit = +£7 ;) :hope for no goals in the second half. Considering a H/T bookings buy, 10 so far.

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Result of System Match No.33, Man. City v West Ham, 2-1. A last minute goal turned a potential profit of +£14.50 into a loss of -£15.50, made worse by Zamora's No.25 shirt. :\ Trading out at H/T for System 'B' proved wise, and the small £7 profit reduced the System 'A' £15.50 loss. So, near, and yet, so far!! Total goals MU = 3, P/L = -£2.50 Total shirt numbers MU = 43, P/L = -£13 Total match loss = -£15.50 :( Next trade is tomorrow, Charlton v Fulham, Sky Sports, 8p.m. k.o., Monday, 17th October. Trades and spreads posted here, after 6 p.m..

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Just interested to know how System 'A' is matching up to System 'B' at the moment in terms of yield and profit ? What criteria do you apply when looking for System 'B' bet, low goal expectancy and no high shirt numbers amongst the strikers ? Keep up the good work.

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match No. 34, Charlton v Fulham, Sky Sports 1, 8 p.m., Monday, 17th October. A loss in our last match, so the stake level rises by 1 point for this evening's trade. Sell total goals at 2.6, for £10 per goal. Sell total shirt numbers at 34, for £2 per point. Tipsters are predicting +2 goals, with a possible home win favoured. One trade favoured by the stats, and backed up by the RP is a Charlton corners supremacy sell at 1.75, (I.G.). If Fulham win more corners than Charlton, or Charlton's toal corner count is only one more than Fulham's, the trade profits. Bookings are debatable - the ref., Mike Riley has an average of 60, but the teams aves. are only 13.5 and 16.2. Previous corners in this fixture - 10, 8. Bank updates in the near future. GL :ok :hope

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Maybe someone can help me because im new. Iv spent some time going through the forum but im having problems finding certain details about "spreadmans double cell system" Whats the exact difference between system a,b,c,d? From what i can see it appears you normally bet on Goals and Shirt Numbers of goalscorers. So whats the difference in the bets. Also Spreadman mentions that during the game he sometimes pulls a certain system, say at half time when results aren't going well. He normally keeps system A running for the full 90 minutes but stops system B. I dont know if my questions are stupid but im not completely sure. Any help please :ok

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Gavcur, because I know my system trades in advance, I will try and get the trade on as early as possible, as soon as the spreads become available. If you catch them early enough, and shop around, generally, at least one of the 4 spread companies that I use is 'out of line' with the others If you can catch this misalignment, before they adjust, you will 'grab' an extra point here, another point there...it all adds up !! Do I think there is still value to be had? I think so, but I must stress to you, this is a strategy .....and it means that I trade on every match, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE STATS. INDICATE. So, the aim is not to win every trade, but win enough to provide a profit. The goal averages for tonight's match are suggesting 2 or more goals..but you never can tell!..it's up to you, the figures, so far, speak for themselves.... This system, like any other that I know of, has no guarantees..don't be disheartened if you lose tonight....try to be unemotional about your trade losses..and wins! Remember, there is always the next match...and NEVER trade with money you cannot afford to lose. GL!! :hope

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Charlton v Fulham, H/T, 0-1. Little to be gained by closing System 'B' trades, but I am expecting more goals in the second half...so many near misses in the first half...and Bent is starting to fire up. So, buy total goals at 34, P/L = £0. Buy total shirt numbers at 35, P/L = +£2. System 'B' match profit = +£2. Little to show for 45 minutes of ulcer burning, but done more as a damage prevention tactic. I have a bookings buy looking good, so far. GL. :ok :hope

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Result of System Match No. 34, Charlton v Fulham, 1-1. Having made numerous visits to the loo during the match, and discarded several sets of soiled under wear, I was much relieved, in every sense of the word, that the game was a 2 goal only result. Which means, fellow PL'er, that we have a made a small profit for tonight. Total goals MU = 2, P/L = +£6. Total shirt numbers MU = 28, P/L = +£12. Total match profit = +£18. ;) Not too bad , and the 'Spreadman's TGMSS system' showed a good profit also, full details will be posted on the thread of that name, shortly. A full update of all Systems and Strategies banks, etc. will appear here, when I have a moment of mental clarity, which should be in the next day or so...hopefully. Meanwhile, the next match to be traded here will be Leeds v Sheff. Utd., on Friday, October 21st. :ok

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Spreadman, Thank you for the very thorough response to my points earlier. Its difficult to calculate the kind of return you would have got last season from spread markets, as the data is not available, unless you keep a record of it yourself (which you obviously do). You can get info on the fixed odds available, but not spread markets. For now im keeping my own records, which will hopefully prove valuable in seasons to come.

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Mabell and MarkH, apologies for not responding sooner....Mark, before I trade any market, I always like to have a 'dry run', by means of a paper test, which I did for most of last season, before commmencing my current systems and posting them on the PL. I appreciate that some punters who decide to follow my 'tips', may then decide to put their money 'where my mouth is', and though I cannot be responsible for their decision to do so, or any losses they may suffer, I nevertheless feel morally obligated to make sure that any posts that I make, I truly believe in, and am prepared to back them up with my own cash. This, therefore, is the main reason, at the moment, for not trading on Champions League and UEFA matches, although your comment about any statistical reason could be part of my hesitancy to trade. I just get the feeling, probably irrationally, that these matches are higher scoring...although, ironically, I purposely monitored tonight's matches, and 7 out of 8 matches were under 2.5!! Meaning that a good profit would have been made. Another restriction to trading these matches could be the fact that not all of them are readily available for spread betting, though overs/unders are always available, if not so profitable. For example, this evening, I believe, Sporting were offering trades on only 4 of tonight's matches. If I have the time I will check past results, and monitor future scores in these types of fixtures. That may sound like a lame excuse, (lack of time), but I can assure you that just keeping a record, (and all that involves), of league matches, trend charts, team data, tipsters opinions, match comments posted on the various forums, testing systems, conceiving new ideas, etc. is very time consuming. And then there's time for sleep and eat.....if I'm lucky! And now to Mabell....yes, I do keep stats, I have files full of them on almost every market...multiple injuries, 1st goal, scorers, refs, cards, corners, penalties and even 'fat lady'....(don't ask!!). My main income is from betting, and in particular, spread betting, so I need to do this, and invest my time in it. So, yes, keep records..extensive and consistent....and complete.. because a gap in stats could miss a vital trend, one that could prove profitable. GL for now, good to see some interest stirring in spread betting, and some excellent questions there, chaps....:ok

Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Muirjames, sorry about the delay in replying to your original question, and, by the way,:welcome You may be slightly confused, understandable, really, I spend most of my time in that particular state....there are only two strategies with the Spreadman's Double Sell system - strategy 'A' and 'B'. Strategy 'A' is a 90 minute trade on the whole game. I introduced the 'B' strategy as an option that allows me to 'trade out', i.e. close a parallel running, identical trade to system 'A', when I feel that the second half may be unprofitable, e.g. high scoring. This has proved to be useful on several occasions. My 'STGMSS' system has 5 strategies, numbered, 1 to 5 (!). Full details of what each strategy involves are posted in the 'New system starts today!' thread in this forum. Hope this clears things up....it will help you, or any new punter to take a look at both of my current systems, just click on the 'search' box above this post, and type 'spreadman' or 'stgmss' in the dropdown box. Good luck! :ok
