Utd probably fielding a 'youth' team, and no doubt a few high shirt numbers will be scuttling around the pitch, (Rossi, etc.). One to watch before trading or not. In running bets on the exchanges may profit, as punters struggle to make sense of the team line ups, and get the odds wrong. GL :ok :hope

Sell total goals at 2.7 for £3 per goal Sell total shirt numbers at 61 for £1 per point. I would not personally recommend a trade in this match, at least, not a sell in goals or shirts. This is strictly a system 'on paper' trade , for the continuity of my records. Shirts are marked high, so we may make a small profit here, with our minimum stakes. I may close the trades at half time if still goalless. The ref. is P. Dowd, average, 46, Donc. is 18, Arse. is 21. Why not make a New Year's resolution to actually introduce yourselves?....it's a completely painless experience, and we don't bite..... Liverpool have not conceded in their last 8 league matches. It may be a matter of whether Everton can hold out for 90 minutes, or how many goals they can prevent... Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips Hi Spreadman, i am new to spread betting and have had a nice couple of wins with the booking spreads (Liverpool vs Everton, wow !), the problem i seem to have is control with in running games and as a consequence i lost spectacularily (is that spelt right ?), so that got me to thinking that there must be a system of some sort out there to help control my in running urges, so tonight i started following yours, probably not the best of nights but hopefully long term will show a nice little profit, so thanks for the tips and i will continue to follow them. Sorry if i waffled on a bit, stella would be the best explaination.

A small loss tonight, if you followed my stake advice, -£1 loss on goals and -£6 on shirt numbers. If you saw my STGMSS thread trades for tonight, however, and staked a minimum of £1 per minute, you would have made +£48!!. :) I, too, was on bookings in the Everton v Liverpool match, as suggested in my post, below, buying at 49, at half time, with a final make up of 110 points, for a profit of 61 points. :) Next traded match is tomorrow lunchtime, spreads posted here around Noon.

I've been crunching a few numbers over the last couple of days (whilst sober-ish), but im missing one vital variable, which is, the average that TGM are sold at before a game. In my current calculations I have used 120 as an average, is that too low ? any ideas ? Anyway, enough of my waffling, oh and a Happy New Year to you.

Fortunately, I managed to close my own personal trades, over the 'phone, in the Derby v Reading match before the third goal, at a smaller loss than if I had let them run to 90 minutes. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to my comp. to advise punters to do the same. :\ However, I always suggest strongly considering closing TGM trades around or before the 75th minute, as the last 15-20 minutes of a match, on average, see more goals scored than any other 15 minute match period. And, of course, two goals in the dying minutes can cost a TGM trade 170 or more points :( . To answer your questions, 120 seems about right. Most televised match spreads are between 110 and 130, and, as you are probably aware, the TGMS spread, and all other calculated goal related spreads are indirectly linked to the goal supremacy and total goals spread figures. I haven't had time to add up and calculate an exact mid spread average for televised matches, I have a pile of other outstanding stats. stuff to do, first, including bank updates. However, I would be interested to hear your observations, conclusions etc., relating to TGM's and spread betting, in general. I don't know if you are familiar with the 'multiple injury' and 'fat lady' (!!), markets, but I have uncovered some interesting trends in their stats. More news on that, shortly... Dare I say it?.........there are some high shirt numbers in this match...Lua Lua, 32, and O' Neil, 26, with the odd 22, 31 and 33 ........:unsure No personal shirts trade for me.... Blackburn seemed to have cleaned their act up at home, so not as likely to tempt the ref. to produce high cards. However, Mr. Bellamy may have some influence on the outcome, though Portsmouth have a low home cards average. I would, however, contemplate a total corners buy at 11. I am reluctant to trade in this match, tonight..the stats. history of this fixture point towards a high scoring, high bookings match. I will watch the match for a few minutes before deciding whether to trade or not....hopefully the artificially high bookings spread of 54-58 will have a chance to reduce before the first card comes out of Mr. Poll's shirt.
