The Templegate Cull

OK - time to make this idea more public - has been providing returns this week. Simple idea using Templegate's tips, but eradicating some of the donkeys that he selects. For each of his selections, I look at the last 3 positions it finished. Then we award 5 points for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd, 1 for 4th. 2 points for a distance winner, 1 for a course winner (both = 3 points). Any selection that totals 10 points or more stays in, the rest are discarded. Today gave 5 selections - 3 winners @ 5/2, 6/1 & 5/2, a 7/2 2nd and a nowhere. Anyway, we'll start with 1000 points and go for 10 pts WIN singles.
