Scattergun for horses

A scattergun approach to selecting horses (with no rhyme nor reason given for those selections) with the objective to see if I can make a profit.

Some background info -

Looking back historically (approx 4 years from May 2016 to Feb 2020), the longest consecutive losing run was 41.Total number of selections over this period was over 66000 (many of these were picked more than once). After removing the repeated selections, the total number of individual selections were over 40000. Staking ranges from 1pt through to 5pts depending on how many times an individual horse was picked (max of five times) on the day. Maximum number of points spent on any single day over this period was 120pts. The maximun number of indivdual selections in any one day has hit 40. Bets placed with B365 at the earliest opportunity (usually the evening before) as they offer early prices with BOG.

SR's over this period -

Picked 1 time (1pt stake) - R 26285, W 5913,  22.50%
Picked 2 times (2pt stake) - R 8377, W 2571, 30.69%
Picked 3 times (3pt stake) - R 3966, W 1425, 35.93%
Picked 4 times (4pt stake) - R 2050, W 907, 44.24%
picked 5 times 5pt stake) - R 683, W 384, 55.41%

Starting bank will be set at 200pts (approximnately 5 times the longest losing run), this should help combat losing runs and any drawdown on the bank. Cash value is £200.00, so one point is equal to £1.00 at the start. If bank manages to hit 400pts then the actual cash stake will double (£2.00 per point) and then tripled (£3.00 per point) if the bank hits 600pts etc. All bets are win only.

First selections for 23/02/2020 (bets were actually placed yesterday with B365's early prices show, so some prices will very likely have changed at time of posting).
