This is an alternate event alongside the WGC Mexico Championship and provides a good opportunity for motivated players in-attendance who can effectively guarantee 2 and a half years on the PGA Tour, with winner status. Greens are large and feature Paspalum. Previous winners here include Michael Bradley (x2), Scott Brown Chesson Hadley, Alex Cejka, Tony Finau, D.A. Points, Martin Trainer. Power off the tee has to be an advantage here, where high Greens in Regulation tends to get it done.
