Matt
Re: Leicester Casinos Here ya go Burt......nice to see you again btw :) Gala Casinos, one of the UK’s leading casino operators, opens its first ever casino in Leicester today. The dazzling new casino, situated in the heart of Leicester, occupies 27,880sq ft and is one of the largest in the UK. Arranged over three levels, the Casino offers a full collection of games and rivals Leicester’s restaurants and bars as an entertainment and leisure venue. The new Casino houses a wide variety of popular games including Blackjack and Roulette as well as a card room for members to play the hugely popular game of Poker. You must become a member of the Gala Casino, 90 Highcross, Leicester, 24 hours before visiting. Membership is free and open to all aged 18 or over. 90 Highcross Leicester, its basically the main road that leads into the town centre, if you coming in by train it will cost you about £5 in a cab to get there. BillyHills
Re: Leicester Casinos Its been open about 6 months, very nice place, when i went i asked about the Card room and was told they hadnt got the license to play 'live' poker. A couple of months later i rang them and no change. This was about a month ago maybe more, something to do with the new casino laws so they said. Should be happening though coz Gala have card rooms in most places. Stanleys Casino play poker but cant vouch for the place, very small casino, only been once. Annabells Casino is also in the City but not got the greatest reputation im afraid. All in all id wait for the Gala to get its act togerther. Burt Saddo
Re: Leicester Casinos Annabells was the first casino I ever went in. However I believe that Stanley's own it now. stanley's have taken over the two casinos in Derby but there is no poker I'm afraid.
