230 Leopardstown

Ryanair Hurdle

Seven runners line up for the big race at Leopardstown and six of them are rated 156 or more. Its a fantastic line up and most will be hoping to see Samcro bounce back to form after getting stuffed by Buveur D'Air last time out. That was two defeats on the spin for the horse that Gordon Elliott thought would take everything this season including the Champion Hurdle in March.
I hope he runs well but i'm not sure he should be 7/4 favourite?
Melon is the second favourite and is becoming a nearly horse, he has been beaten in his last five races now but was second at Cheltenham so has a big one in him. As you can probably gather i'm not that interested in the front of the market and my fancy is for Supasundae at the prices. He won at Punchestown last season and although is thought better over further I think the race will be run to suit and he will be finishing best of all.

Supasundae EW 6/1 bet365

2.40 Doncaster

BALLYWOOD (nap) - Evens Skybet

This doesn't look the strongest race of it's type and the claims of BALLYWOOD look obvious.
Alan King's gelding impressed with his jumping when winning at Taunton last time (beating a Paul Nicholls trained hot pot who has gone on to win since), and being a lightly raced four year old, will undoubtedly have more to come.If anything today's drop in trip is even more suitable..

3.15 Doncaster

Enniscoffey Oscar (n.b) - 11/4 Bet 365

It is always a bit of a risk betting horses returning to hurdles after a spell chasing but at the price ENNISCOFFEY OSCAR looks well worth chucking a few groats at.
Emma Lavelle's gelding didn't really look to have a cut at his fences,so this return to timber looks the right way to go.A winner of a Grade 2 event over today's course and distance in January makes him the stand out performer here, and will lack for nothing with Aidan Coleman in the saddle.
