Cracking novice chase at Exeter on Friday with five top class recruits taking each other on.

Black Op - Won twice last season including a Grade 1 contest at Aintree. Second to Samcro in the Neptune so has to be respected on chase debut.
Defi Du Seuil - Won two Grade 1 races in 2017 including the Triumph, misfired last season and then only ran moderately on his chase debut 19 days ago. Could improve on that but will need to really bounce back to win this.
Topofthegame - Improved over hurdles last season and ended up winning a Grade 3 at Sandown and then was second in the Coral Cup. Had a wind op and looks interesting.
Westend Story - Won twice over hurdles last season but on the balance of form looks as though he needs to improve to live with these as he was only rated 137 over hurdles.
White Moon - Won his point and two hurdle races and then didnt run after xmas. Made a useful debut over fences behind Count Meribel at Cheltenham when coming to challenge at the last before being squeezed for room and falling. Not sure what would have happened but it was an improved run following a wind op.

Trainer Tom George does well here at Exeter so I think Black Op is probably the one to be on here. It woudlnt surprise me to see White Moon follow him home to confirm his promising debut effort.
