BillyHills
NH Trainers Title With Aintree just around the corner and not too long before the Jumps season comes to an end, many people have been discussing the NH Trainers Championship. We remember last year the battle between Willie Mullins and Paul Nicholls, it certainly injected some life into those last couple of weeks of the season. Nicholls came out on top that time by finding plenty of 'average' winners and that will be his plan once again in 2017 but this time he's up against the shrewd Nicky Henderson. Henderson has a decent lead as we speak of about 130,000, now that's an awful lot of 'average' winners but with Aintree on the horizon anything could happen. I'n not sure if Henderson is going to send any of his big guns up to Liverpool. Talk of Buveur D'Air running but i've not heard about Altior and its thought he may well wait for Sandown on the last day of the season. Either way if those pair won it would probably take a National win for Nicholls to keep hold of his title. Nicholls has 5 entries in the National and a couple of lively sorts in Vicente and Saphir du Rheu. He nicked the title when Neptune Collonges won at Aintree a few years ago and may well need lightening to strike twice. Colin Tizzard is not totally out of it but would need to win the National plus a couple of other big races too. Prices: Henderson 8/13 with Betway Nicholls 6/4 with CoralsTizzard 20/1 with Stan James State of play
Jimmy2shoes
Might just be me or maybe NH just hides it better but i always feel PN wants this the most, real passion can always be seen when he wins, i feel Mr Tizzard's hope slipped away on Gold Cup day. I shed a little tear myself when i watched my old loyal pal Cue Card walk back without Sir Paddy BillyHills
