jambo22
Hi just need something clearing up please I have had a bet on meyweather to win in round six. It says on the BBC text that his camp stopped the fight at the end of the sixth. Is this classed as a TKO round six? The bet i had is unbelivable brazil to beat germany 3-2 33/1 FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR to win in round 6 25/1 i had a pound on each and a silly 20p double
stereoman
Re: ARTURO GATTI v FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR Should be (they didn't start the seventh round). Which bookie says it isn't?! You lucky bastard! Have a good Sunday with your winnings! :dude
jambo22
Re: ARTURO GATTI v FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR the bookie was william hill , the only result i can find is this off BBC sport The unbeaten Mayweather produced a series of dazzling combinations, an amazing percentage finding the target. At the end of the sixth, Gatti's camp wisely ended the bout, their man left badly dazed by his stylish opponent. Britain's IBF champion Ricky Hatton was watching at ringside and described Mayweather's display was "masterful." It should count as round six ? TKO possibly? jambo22
Re: ARTURO GATTI v FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR Ill re done that i placed the bet at william hill shop but can't find the result on their website any ideas?
stereoman
Re: ARTURO GATTI v FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR I watched the fight. Gatti's corner threw in the towel at the end of the sixth. I shouidn't be worried. William Hill are late starters and not 24 hour people like Bet365, Fred Done and Stan James. By around 10am, you should be paid. If you're that fussed, ring 'em. stereoman
Re: ARTURO GATTI v FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR ....didn't see your third post on the thread. It'll be a brief wait as the clerks will no doubt ring head office to verify the result. Once in a while, when you're at the bookie's you will get those lightning in a bottle moments and hey, well there you go sometimes they come through. Nicely done fella although I'm sure you wished more than some spare change to throw on those two seemingly unlikely results! Didn't you watch it bleary-eyed on Sky Sports 1 this Sunday morning like me?! :rollin The two examples I'd give you just to give you some actual confidence is that Mike Tyson's fight against Kevin McBride was settled as a 6th round TKO and Ricky Hatton's win against Kostya Tsyzu was settled as an 11th round TKO. No way, will William Hill settle it as a seventh round TKO.
jambo22
Re: ARTURO GATTI v FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR The best of it i don't normally bet on boxing, I was looking at the best prices and im sure their bet was round 5 or 6 but the odds on 6 were 25/1 at hills and only 14/1 at ladbrookes so i thought "Theres a bit a value there" so thats how i did it. I then found a ""LUCKY"" 20p and thought ill just do a double with that now i wish it was a pound!! £234.80 i still can't belive it now When urs lucks down what about that my biggest win for small stakes in years, like i said before thank you for the help etc.... :ok
