Jimmy2shoes
Trainer Mr Ed Walker sends out just the one runner for this weak looking Class 6 Handicap (Div 1) - his 4yr old Colt is a Son of Footstepsinthesand and from 10 race days has yet to score. He clearly wasn't suited by Southwell and it can be a surface that horses either handle or they don't, he didn't enjoy it and now returns back to Polytrack, when he last showed up here at Kempton on the 19th Oct 2016 he ran a cracker finishing 3rd under today's pilot Luke Morris, he was then 2nd at Wolverhampton behind a red hot jolly from Roger Charlton's yard but was no way disgraced. On careful examination of past races it looks like instructions are to hold him up so his rather poor draw from ''Gate 14'' might put some punters off but that draw might just bring out the best in him, he's only been off the track for 19 days So is a fit animal and if you can ignore that last run at Southwell and give him another chance he might just reward when most have written him off. He's proven over the trip and Luke Morris must have at least a little faith in him as he gets the leg up for the forth time and in those past three rides has ALWAYS took home a novelty place memento - 3rd 3rd 2nd 16:40 Kempton Park - Lobster Cocktail Edited January 17, 2017 by Jimmy2shoes
