On bare figures last years St Leger winner Simple Verse would be the one to be on but a poor run last time and coming back from a break doesnt fill me with confidence. Abingdon on the other hand is a progressive 3yo filly who won well last time out at York and looks to be more than worth her current mark of 107. She gets the weight allowance and 3yo's have took this race twice in the last 3 years.

Roger Varian sends Alizoom back to one of his favourite tracks Chepstow, to see if he can get his head back in front. He has ran well twice here before including when second to Gold Hunter last month. He re-opposes on better terms here and should be capable of reversing that form. Last time out he was a creditable 3rd at Newbury but found the 7f a trip to far and will appreciate the drop back to 6f here.
