Two horse race here by the looks of it and i'm keen on Hassle to outpoint his market rival Birch Hill on this occasion. Hassle won his first two starts over hurdles after joining Dr Richard Newland and then was pitched in at the deep end on his handicap debut here last month. He ran 9th in the Summer Listed Hurdle but only beaten 9 lengths behind Red Tornado, that form is good enough here and could even improve over the longer trip.

Very consistent sort and has won two of three starts this season including one victory over Convey who he meets again here. Not much between them on that occasion and i'm sure there won't be here either but i'm confident he can confirm the form. Last time out he was a terrific second to Dutch Connection in the Lennox Stakes and a reproduction of that would see him win this slightly weaker event.
