The one they all have to beat is Massaat who was 3rd in the Dewhurst behind Air Force Blue and second in the 2000 Guineas behind Galileo Gold. Been of the track since and now lowered into this easier company and should take this on his way to an Autumn campaign at a higher level.

Won his last two since joining Feral O'Brien, this is another on of the Rooney horses that improved markedly since leaving the McCain set up. Made his debut in handicaps off 105 and then won by 8 lengths with a penalty after that. Now rated 120 but gets in here 5lb light and nothing in the field looks good enough to stop him completing the hat-trick.
