arsenalfh
Fairyhouse Preview No bet in the first race. O'Callaghan has an interesting one in the 6.20 but he has to give a ton of weight to the Lyons horses and is very much bred for further. Keane's choice is the obvious one but it will be interesting to see what Lyons says in his blog as he sometimes disagrees with his stable jockey and I was on a winning 2nd string a couple of weeks ago. I'll wait until the morning to put down the money. Golden Pearl is the obvious one in the next race looking at the RPR he put up on his debut but you're betting on Halford having him fit first time out and his record is poor so I'll watch. Pacodali looks solid enough with the Weld horse flopping and it's a poor race with not much else in it. I don't bet odds on shots though. I have a pretty strong fancy in the 7.50 handicap as Three Majors very much got the run of the race at Gowran last time and is very short at 7/2. Phebes Dream shaped well in a decent Dundalk maiden over a trip too far and reopposes the favourite tomorrow after running in the same Gowran handicap. He was drawn really wide over 7f there and had no chance when they went a slow gallop before staying on well at the finish from the rear where he was only beaten about a length by Three Majors. They both have very similar profiles with a couple of starts under their belts and are open to similar progress so I think he has every chance of reversing the form at a massive 14/1. In the 8.20 I like Worth Avenue. Elusive In Paris was unlucky but on these terms and a run under his belt maybe Worth Avenue can reverse the form. Still unexposed and running for a good trainer he should go well at 8/1 and looks the value pick. Gabardine and Fly By are the interesting ones in the concluding maiden with the front two in the market well worth taking on. Colin turned down Fly By for a pretty average horse last time which is a concern and the expensive purchase Gabardine is coming for support so he looks the bet with a run under his belt for the Halford team. 7.50 - Phebes Dream @ 14/1 Bet365 8.20 - Worth Avenue @ 8/1 Betfred 8.50 - Gabardine @ 4/1 Paddy Power
