Re: Fun Placepots FRIDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE SANDOWN - OUT Leg 1. 5 legs correct. WAS on course for 2 lines at £655.30 (please note that had one of our selections gone in, this would have affected the dividend, probably downwards). Close but no cigar! Was thinking about Texas Gold as well, and had I gone for four selections in this crunch leg, it probably would have been that :spank :wall :gimme

Beverley stands a good chance, but probably a small dividend. Haydock looks a lot, lot tougher (small stakes advised).

Re: Fun Placepots 2 lines at Beverley - just about washed our faces there i think? shame on haydock - I based my pot on yours, changed a few based on the movers on betfair, dithered between Hounded and Expensive, and went with Expensive. turned to be just that as that was the only leg i got wrong. paid £173.40 at haydock...:wall

Some tricky cards again today, and it is Saturday, so keep it small all round if you play today. Waiting to see if the girlfrind wakes up in (yet another) strop - if so, it's Haydock for me today :rollin

Both meetings hold chances today, with Market Rasen the slightly tougher. Don't think there will be any great dividends if all goes to plan though, but hopefully better than Carlisle yesterday evening. Updates this week will be around 5pm due, again, to work commitments and will cover, for obvious reasons, evening racing only.

Tricky tonight, especially at Windsor, and not as much time spent on these as I'd like, so the usual warning applies. Just noticed I've done 36 lines at Windsor - will keep it that way for tonight only.

Re: Fun Placepots MONDAY UPDATE RIPON - OUT Leg 2. 2 legs correct. WINDSOR - OUT Leg 2. 5 legs correct. WAS on course for 4 lines at £23.20 ho hum... It is quite possible, in fact almost likely that there will be no Placepots tomorrow, but I will try to get one online if possible.

Re: Fun Placepots stemcin - For the placepot, you have to get at least one selection placed in each of the six legs for a return. I am hoping to get round sometime to writing a user guide to Placepots, but in the meantime, you may find the information at http://www.gamblinguncovered.co.uk/systems/cracking_the_placepot.shtml may be of interest, although my selection method is totally different!

Re: Fun Placepots Thanks stemcin01 :) Two tricky meetings again for different reasons. A mass of runners at Worcester and two four runner races at Carlisle. The main advice is, quite emphatically, keep stakes small if playing tonight. Oh, and god knows where the formatting has gone, again! roll.gif

Re: Fun Placepots Thanks Spotlight's wotsit ;) Here are the selections for this evening. Both look tough, but equally should stand a decent chance of some success.
