WorkingForTheEnemy
Just noticed this race at Brighton. Unfortunatly horse looks set to go off shorter than RP forecast but still should be between 1/2 - 4/6. Frankie Dettori has gone to Brighton for one ride in a Class E maidan handicap. He's only had 3 rides at Brighton in the last 5 years producing 2 winners (66% record). Horse has 3 2nds at this distance in Class D. By far the best form in the race. Dont know how other people feel but I always get bells ringing when I see top jockeys in situations like this. If he's gone to a track he rarely visits(but has a good record at) for just one ride I cant imagine he's gone there just for the sightseeing. OK the price is short but a 50% return still isnt bad for something that , to me anyway, looks pretty good. EDIT: Just noticed I kinda forgot the name of horse and race. WorkingForTheEnemy
Only One For Frankie!! Looking at his travelling also. He rode at Chepstow last night and rides at Newbury tonight. This means he's gone more than twice as far as necessary to go to Brighton to then go back the other direction to Newbury fot tonight. Like I said, I dont know if anyone else sees this as meaning anything but Im sure Jockeys dont put in that much extra travelling unless they feel theyre going to be rewarded by it. Guest DannyCash
Frankie Yes, I think that if Frankie was not riding it - it would have lost.
