The Derby is next Saturday and I'm going. What do you fancy? I fancy ORATORIO who was as big as 25-1 this time last week, but now a swarm of money has been put on this horse and now is as big as 7-1. He was one of the first horses off the bridle in the English 2000 Guiness and looked beaten at the 3 furlong marker, but his stamina came into play as he thundered home from what looked like a unpromising position to finish 4th. That performance suggested that he would be a much better horse over further. But again he took on the best 3yo Colts in the Irish Equivalent last Saturday, he again indicated he would be better over further as he was closing down the gap between him and Dubawi inside the final furlong. I think won't stay the Derby trip and I fully expect Oratorio so stay and beat him and be be seen to much better effect with the extra four furlongs.

Re: Derby Ill post my thoughts a little later. Will be having a good look as Ive got a fair bit of pressure for this from mates. The Derby's always been my lucky race. Last 3 years Ive had all 3 winners, a 25/1 2nd(my early fancy) and a comb tricast come in. Hoping it can bring me my usual good luck.
