3.25 Down Royal - Venitien De Mai @ 5/2 BetVictor

Mount Gunnery ran a good race on his reappearance but I don't like the winner of that race who is flattered by his hurdles rating and didn't jump well throughout. Futuramic was just staying on behind beaten horses to finish 8th in the Paddy Power at Christmas and dropping back in trip is surely against his chances so the favourite Venitien De Mai looks to have a good chance based on a 7L 3rd to a 146 rated hurdler who appeared to take well to fences. The 2nd also won easily next time out so the form looks strong.
