Ling 2.50 - Kalkrand - win at 6/4 bog PP

10F handicap for 3yo, class 5

A field of mainly lightly raced types, most of them making their handicap debuts

My selection probably has least to prove having already won a class 5 handicap over this CD. He travelled well and quickened away to win. Has gone up 4lbs but could be on an upward curve and he comes from the Gosden yard

DONCASTER 12 50 : Harvey´s Hope @ 20/1 bet365 e/w thanks

Harvey´s Hope.....from Keith Reveley yard the 10yo is a C&D winner over hurdles but is out today in his first chase race he's also been running over flat with success too,

He's been successful in two hurdle races at 2m and 2m 3f on good and good to soft ground and two flat races at 1m 6f on good to firm and good to soft plus various place finishes over hurdles and flat,

His last run was 15 days ago at Catterick 2m3½f soft when he finished 6th of 11 runners beaten 34 lengths with young Harry Challoner claiming 3lbs in saddle , with yard reverting back to James Reveley suggest to me the yard expecting a good run out of him

315 Huntingdon: Agentleman 4/1 Skybet/PP

Zillions of runners up north at Doncaster and Danny Cook comes down to Huntingdon for one ride in 0-105 novice chase.

Has to be of interest and with the races at Donny very competitive due to the nice ground it makes sense to stay with this Tim Easterby novice.

Showed a bit of promise in a hurdle or two and then was pulled up on his chase debut in bad ground last time. He wasn't going that bad at one stage but Brian Hughes probably did the right thing and saved him for another day after a blunder cost him any chance. The Skelton horse is dangerous and deserved favourite but at the prices its worth a nibble.
