Punters Lounge 12 Days of BPP Christmas Challenge

HO HO HO :cheers or Bah Humbug :moon depending on your viewpoint. :lol For December we are running a shortened BPP campaign to finish before Christmas, but to spice things up there will be series of challenges through which extra points can be earned. As well as the ultimate honour of being crowned BPP December challenge champion plus earning the designatory letters on your username (which you will be able to keep for 2 months as it's not intended to run BPP during January) Guppie has kindly offered to bung the winner $50. :clap The challenge will run for 12 days from Friday 11th to 23.59 GMT Tuesday 22nd December. There will be a focus game each day with points earned if you cash in the game (see previous BPP threads for scoring details). The focus game will be decided by "people's choice" and will be the game with the most votes in the poll in the daily diary thread (a declaration will be made early in the evening before the game starts). Therefore you must vote in the daily thread in order to earn points. Games starting before 19.00 will not be eligible (or 18.00 on Sat/Sun). If any other games are deemed unsuitable for BPP purposes we'll let you know in that day's thread. (And if all this fails miserably I reserve the right to revert back to Guppie selecting the daily game. ;)) Only your highest 3 focus game scores will count. And now for the challenges... :drums There will be 12 challenges which run throughout the 12 day period which will earn you extra BPP points. Where appropriate these can be earned in cash games as well as tournaments. To claim points you need to post a screenshot or hand history in this thread or the daily diary thread. Screenshots may be shared by more than one person, but you need to post to say you are claiming please. For each challenge either 25 or 50 points are available - you can upgrade a 25 point claim to 50 points but you can't claim both. So it's possible to earn up to 600 additional points on top of your focus scores. However, for challenge points to count you must take part in at least 2 focus games over the 12 day period, though you do not need to earn a score. To be deemed as 'taking part' in the game, you must vote in the daily thread (the poll will stay open after the focus game has been declared) and you must say hello to other PL'ers you see at the tables. (OK, I know that last bit's not enforceable, but the aim is to get back some of the community spirit that PL Poker was built on, so you get the idea. :ok) Challenges are listed in the next post.
