3.10: Qatar Goodwood Cup (Group 2) (2m) With the most recent winners being Cavalryman and Brown Panther, I have to say this doesn’t look a vintage Goodwood Cup. They are headed by Trip To Paris who carries the Group 1 penalty for winning at Ascot. It’s hard to believe he was rated just 88 at the start of the season. The dangers are Big Orange who needs to prove he stays this trip and the old boy Simenon who’s been and done it all before and was a decent fourth at Ascot recently. An each way shout for Quest For More is my idea of a wager, he won nicely last time out in the Northumberland Plate and has also won here at Goodwood and looks a very solid option. Selection: Quest For More 11/2 Hills (took 9/1 earlier!!)
