24 teams compete in 6 groups The top 2 in each group advance to the knock out stage along with the best four 3rd-place teams. This is the 20th edition of the U20 World Cup (originally called the World Youth Championship). South American countries have dominated, with Argentina and Brazil winning eleven of the nineteen competitions so far. Portugal have won two. Ghana, Spain, Soviet Union, West Germany, France and Yugoslavia have won one each. I thought this was a Women's Tourney, as i idiotically alluded to in the other thread, false assumption. Louis what advice would you have on handicapping the U20 Matchups & The Women's WC games, if any. I mean are there any databases of stats, past matchup outcomes or other potentially useful info to get a handle on what would be the best side to back or over/under? Even just sites you know of that provide analysis on the matchups would be appreciated. I'm very much flying by the seat of me pants in the dark here on this stuff. I ask because I took Serbia over Hungary and lost & Columbia over USA and lost there too mmissing a particualry good opportunity in that USA ML. tia MLDog.
