He looked to have a bit up his sleeve that day and goes here with a 5lb penalty of which Bowen gets rid of 3lbs. David Pipe always supports these races and his runner is Baltimore Rock and will be ridden by the very capable Kieran Edgar. This horse was 10th in the Greatwood Hurdle and last time was a decent 7th at Cheltenham behind Wicklow Brave in the County Hurdle. He was 4th here behind Josses Hill in a novice race last season and must have a good chance off 137. Plenty of others have chances at their best but the two I’ll take against the field are Dormello Mo and Baltimore Rock.
