Aidymac
Re: The Crabbie’s Topham Steeple Chase > Friday April 10th @ 4:05pm The Ginge Army are coming to Liverpool on Friday, and it would be fantastic if SPLASH OF GINGE can replay their faith in him over the bigger obstacles. They have always felt that he would excel over fences, and unfortunately that plan has yet to come to fruition but there is time on his side. He beat Hunt Ball over the bigger obstacles at Cheltenham in January, but since has been pulled up at Sandown and finished down the field in the JLT Chase at the festival. He has a big enough weight on his back, 11-10, but Ryan Hatch takes off a valuable 5 pounds and Ginge has a real liking for Aintree which is a huge plus. He won a maiden hurdle here at Aintree in December of 2013 by 20 lengths and was 2nd behind Lac Fontana in a Grade 1 here twelve months ago. I think if he gets around ok, the 20/1 available on Ginge is an enormous price, he is a great each-way bet. Advised Bet: Splash Of Ginge - 1 Point each-way @ 20/1 BetVictor (4 Places) http://www.horse-racing.org/friday-aintree-tips--get-the-champagne-out--the-ginge-army-comes-to-town
BillyHills
Re: The Crabbie’s Topham Steeple Chase > Friday April 10th @ 4:05pm 4.05 Aintree: Crabbie’s Topham Chase (Grade 3) (2m5f110y) .....If your looking for a young progressive type then Splash Of Ginge could fit the profile. Only a 7yo trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and owned locally in Liverpool. This would bring the house down and it’s not out of the question that the horse could spring a surprise. He won the Betfair Hurdle at 25/1 last season and has made a fair start to his chasing career and has won twice at Cheltenham this term. Does make the odd blunder, which he will pay for here but at the prices he looks a fair each way bet. Selections: 1pt EW Splash Of Ginge 20/1 >BetVictor Full Preview
