Re: France Ligue2 March 6 - March 9 Sochaux- Tours I last spoke about the hosts 11 days ahead of their trip to Nimes....Sochaux have lost their way, only beating basement club Arles in their last five starts and scoring just once in four, which came in that solitary win and was hard to come by. Their task is however, far more clear cut, a win this evening will take them up to 5th and just a point off second place, which is currently held by Brest, whom they travel to meet on Saturday. Sochaux have posted six road wins , which is better than anyone apart from Troyes, BUT and you knew it was coming all six have come against teams in the bottom eight and they have managed just two points from four starts against top ten teams and that is the level I feel Nimes are at right now. Sochaux arrive without forwards Edouard Butin and Raphael Caceres, who have nine goals between them, six of which came on the road and highly agressive suspended defensive midfielder Florian Tardieu, just one win in five (three defeats) without him this season. This trio are big losses in my opinion. They lost that 2-1 and have subsequently drawn at highflying Brest, which I suppose you could argue stopped the rot, as it was a good looking point, but the home side have themselves been treading water for a few weeks and had a midweek cup quarter final to distract them, this sequence leaves Sochaux in seventh, five points off an automatic promotion spot and having to force the issue , especially in home starts, which takes them out of their comfort zone. They are far happier looking to keep things tight and to hit teams on the break, witness their 22 points earned on the road, just 17 at home, where they have won only 4 of 13 starts, scoring a league low nine goals, they remain without Raphael Caceres up front (see above) which will not help in that respect. We know that Tours have goals in them and that their instinct is to attack and we have discussed them a lot over recent weeks, especially the return of Andy Delort, who's big money move to the Championship did not work out, he scored 24 goals last season and has notched two in just three starts since his return. It would not have been cheap, even to get him back for a few months, of course they had his big transfer fee banked, but it was clearly with the remit of survival for them and for the striker to resurrect his career. Only promoted Caen scored more goals than Tours last season and offensively, they are just as strong right now and I expect them to score at least once this evening and would not trust the hosts to score twice, something they have done just once in 13 starts. Failure to get something from this could leave the visitors four points from safety and I do not see them coming away empty handed. 1.5 units Tours +0.5 ball 2.07 asian line/Sportmarket. Sochaux : Pelé, Camara - Gibaud, Roussillon, Faussurier, Mignot, Zouma - Bérenguer, Lopy, Guerbert, Kharja, Ilaimaharitra, Tardieu - Butin, Toko Ekambi, Sao, Thuram-Ulien. Tours : Bertrand, Kamara - Bouhours, Cissé, Gradit, Miguel, Touré - Belkebla, Chavalerin, Damahou, Santamaria - Bergougnoux, Delort, Ketkeophomphone, Nanizayamo, Tandia.

Re: France Ligue2 March 6 - March 9 Any info for tonight game between Brest & Chateauroux ? Thinking about backing Brest AH-1 but their recent form is telling me to stay away... So if anoyone could help with missings it would be helpful.
