Well after having the majority of the winter away from jumps racing im glad the flat season is back up and running :nana ..... Here we go with the first selection of the season :hope CONSIDINE 5pts ew @ 25/1 Sporting Odds Has his best conditions today, running over 1m 6f on a decent surface. He has been found wanting over varying trips this year, so should appreciate a return to 1m6f and a drop in class aswell. His form over todays distance reads 21264, the 6 on softer than ideal ground and the 4th was a stronger race than todays over this course. Handicap wise, he looks to be on a winning mark. he races off 66 today which is the lowest for some time. He has won off 67 and finished runner up and gone close off 71 last season. He won early on last season and last time out ran well for a long way before fading in the soft ground so fitness wont be a worry. A further drop in the weights and a sounder surface should help. A competitive race but 25/1 is too big as i was expecting around half that price.
