Haaf a sixpence hasnt been on form last two starts and still 10lbs above last win Pearl Nation was raised a total of 18lbs for two wins at southwell and hasnt been out first two at that course incl when 2nd behind Starfield lto , has a bit to prove on the tapeta imo off this mark. Silverware bounced back a bit with a 2.5L defeat in 5th with the top 2 winning nto but is 4lbs higher today. Selection is coming off the back of a 13L defeat when losing a couple of lengths at the start and made some headway with no room to go into and gradually weakened , but the form it showed when 7th only 3L behind Musaddas has worked out well with 2nd winning and 3rd and 4th running well off the same marks and has been dropped 4lbs since that run , running off 90 today. hasnt won in 2 and a bit years and last win came off 86 but has placed off higher marks incl when only btn 3/4L april 14 off 100 so at least been given a chance by the handicapper today. dalgleish has two at the venue but joe fanning only rides this and has a good record for trainer here.
