2.20 Lingfield Johnny Splash and Ask The Guru look likely to take on each other at the head of things which should set this up for a finisher. Both Johnny Splash and Ask The Guru look plenty high enough in the weights at present. Triple Dream is likely to also be up there but not shaping as if winning soon although slightly better effort last time out, first time dropped into a class 5 on the AW for some time so could benefit from that. Pour La Victoire has done his winning over a mile and 7f latest effort over 6f suggests 5f might be worth a try but there is the risk he will find this all happening a little too quick especially around Lingfield. Barbs Princess has clearly not been easiest to train requiring a lot of breaks it would seem, has won fresh but plenty of efforts below par fresh. Welease Bwain won over 6f last time out, has plenty of form over 5f. Yet to win off a mark this high. Temple Road should be suited to the way this race unfolds, got an awful run through last time out looking slightly unlucky, should be a 1lb lower today (was a 1lb overweight last time out) he has dropped below his last winning mark and although yet to win over 5f has some form. 2pt win Temple Road 5/1 VC 3.20 Lingfield Quickaswecan can be given a chance on his form on penultimate start when 3^rd at Kempton off this mark, poor effort last time out at Southwell can be excused given the surface, but still requires a little more. Multitask was never unable to land a blow over 7f last time out but prior to that had been running well over 6f, that said this mark has always looked a little beyond him. Top Offer has also been creeping back up the weights since winning 3 starts back but is another that looks a little high in the weights. Varsovian has been a revelation this winter improving with every run this winter since switching to sprinting and the AW surface. Looked perhaps a little stretched by the 7f trip last time out but still a solid run in second behind a rejuvenated 7f specialist. The 3^rd has also boosted the form by scoring since aswell. 1lb higher today but the return to 6f and this track should suit having been a 2 timer CD winner. 2pt win Varsovian 5/2 VC 4.35 Kempton A typical class 7 event where you can put a line through most of these quite easily on what they have shown recently. With A Twist is an interesting runner on a basement weight for an in form yard and interesting a top yard, persevere with him. Clearly needs to improve but might have a chance after just 4 runs. The other lightly raced interesting one coming from another inform yard is Forceful Beacon, not totally disgraced in maidens last couple of starts and makes handicap debut today off a very lowly mark, cant completely dismiss. Boboli Gardens was very well backed last time out in similar race but at Wolves over the extended mile trip. Didn’t shape that day as if drop in trip was the best idea the way he was finishing the race. Slightly better effort last time out, this certainly looks weaker and handicapper been very kinds to drop him 3lb. Has again attracted support in the early markets this may just be people following the money last time out at this early stage so wouldn’t read too much into it. Fire King might be worth chancing at a price, one of only 2 winners ever in this field. Huge improvement last time out in a very similar CD event under this useful apprentice claiming 7lb. That was only his 2^nd run after a break so should strip fitter again and did last manage to win one of these class 7 events over a mile last winter around here off 48 so claimer helps to put him back on a decent mark and has won off much higher marks in the past. Yard have also come back to the AW scene recently with their horses in really good heart. 2pt win Fire King 6/1 bet365
