Qualifying today would be very good for the team as it would give them confidence to chase their goal of finishing in the first 6 places again as they are stuck at 20 points for 4 rounds. Las Palmas is ready for a great qualification that will show everybody that they are ready for their comeback to Primera Division.They are already leading the table in Segunda 3 points above the second Gijon, they are unbeaten in their last 13 games for all competitions (8-5-0), their away run this season is 5-4-1 and ofcourse they have the upper hand in this game as the first one ended 2-1 for them. On the other hand the Celta manager has decribed the cup as being a priority.They are on an easier side of the draw, if they qualify they wont face Barcelona,Real Madrid or Atletico until the final. Celta are expected to name the strongest line up possible (the team that played in the 2-1 loss against Las Palmas were mostly reserves) against a second string Las Palmas they have to be backed at around 1.75...

Moreover, it has the psychological advantage, as it has taken an away win against La Coruna for Primera Division (0-1). It is sure that it also wants the qualification and i really don’t see any reason that they can’t take it. They sit at the 5th spot of Segunda Division, they have a quality team that I don’t think that has anything less than Elche.
