Re: BMW Masters - October 30th - November 2nd Thongchai Jaidee 33/1 EW Paddy Power Having had a couple of weeks of to recharge the batteries I expect a fair challenge from the little Thai. Jaidee is a formidable golfer who is more often that not, popping up on leaderboards on the tour. His "Jack Russel" style when in contention makes him a hard opponent to shake off, certainly not amongst the snowmen. The six times European tour winner tees up with the backing of two good finishes in the last two years including 2nd last year. So at 33/1 I'm hoping for a bold bid.

Re: BMW Masters - October 30th - November 2nd Tournament preview: 1pt ew M.Ilonen to win BMW Masters 40/1 Paddy Power (1/4 1-5) I found it interesting when Peter Hanson won the first tournament held here that he was at home because it reminded him of Bro Hof Slott in Stockholm which hosted the Nordea Masters for four years. Ironically that had the same yardage as this one. One man who went well on that course was Mikko Ilonen. He won that event in 2013 and was third the year before so he should go well here. Although this is a huge course the 1-2-3 from the first two runnings shows you can tame this course with good accurate golf and Ilonen specialises in that. We know he can score on Nicklaus layouts because he was bang in the mix in the USPGA at Valhalla earlier in the year and has just torn a strong field apart in the Volvo World Matchplay where nobody drove or putted better. He’s a man in form and should go very close at 40/1 this week. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/bmw-masters-betting-mikko-ilonen-can-begin-the-final-series-in-style

Re: BMW Masters - October 30th - November 2nd Top player preview: 2pts ew R.Palmer Top Rest of the World Player 6/1 Stan James (1/4 1-3) Ryan Palmer is something of a Nicklaus course specialist. He has already been a runner up in the Humana and Honda in 2014 and he ran well at the USPGA on another Nicklaus course in Valhalla as well so it is no coincidence he plays well on them. He hits it a long way off the tee, finds greens and putts very well. On the PGA Tour he’s been threatening a win for a while and it is interesting he plays here rather than in Malaysia, I’m guessing because he feels comfortable on Nicklaus designs and so I wouldn’t be surprised if he leads the internationals this week.
