Re: Midweek Evo Stik and Ryman Premier games 1st-3rd September My focus is on the Ryman League this week and a couple of singles and a treble look worth backing. First off I will be at Dulwich v Margate tomorrow night and I am keen on the away side who will surely rarely be odds against this season. On the face of it looks a tricky tie with Dulwich having a very solid start to the season. The problem is though the performances haven’t always matched the results. I watched Dulwich on the first day of the season and as always they look fairly dangerous going forward, but again as always they look shaky at the back. That day they nearly threw away what should have been a comfortable victory against Harrow and with the strength Margate have up front they will punish any mistakes at the back that are made. Dulwich were also fairly lucky to beat Lewes who then were well beaten by Margate last Monday. Margate dropped their first points of the season on Saturday, but they could easily have won given the chances they had and the odds are they wont be so careless up front again. There could be a few goals in this but I would be surprised if Margate didn’t score more of them and at 23/20 with Ladbrokes they look a good bet. The other single bet is VCD Athletic. It wasn’t a great surprise to see them struggle initially after promotion and they lost their first four games. Results and performances suggest though that they are starting to get to grips with this level and in their last three games they have lost 1-0 to Enfield, drawn 1-1 with Met Police and they got their first win of the season on Saturday when beating Witham 2-0. It certainly suggests they aren’t going to be the whipping boys their first three games suggested they would be. I can’t understand why Bognor are odds on to win this game. They have yet to win this season and although only losing by the odd goal to Maidstone and getting a point against Kingstonian aren’t bad results, the rest don’t look great reading. I don’t think there is a great deal between these two sides and at 5/2 with Boylesports it is well worth taking a punt on the away team following up Saturday’s victory. The treble pays around 11/4 with bwin and starts tonight with Kingstonian who host Bury. The home side have yet to lose this season and should have enough to see off a Bury side who will be mid table at best this season. Hornchurch have had an horrid start to the season having lost six of their seven matches. They are being forced to play this game at Aveley’s ground as their own ground needs work done on the floodlights and it is hard to see Maidstone not gaining their seventh victory of the campaign. Leiston are the final team in the treble. They have looked decent this season and of course were the first team to take a point of Margate at the weekend. They host East Thurrock who have lose three of their last four and were well beaten on Saturday against Harrow.

Re: Midweek Evo Stik and Ryman Premier games 1st-3rd September In the NPL - Matlock to win at Frickley 6/4 is my nap. Frickley look set for another struggle. Only decent player is number ten Allott. Cant uderstand why he stays there as he should play higher ...oh wait a mo, i know ££££'s as i heard he is on £400 a week, not sure how reliable that info is though. Matlock have improved since the public rollocking from the manager and if they get in front should win. I like the way the showed some fight to come back late from 1-3 to grab a draw at Belper recently. Rushall Olympic to beat Barwell 13/10 is my other interest. Barwell seem to be struggling to cope with the NPL this season even after an opening day draw v FCUM. Think Pics with their Dutch Gaffer will have a little extra tonight. Double pays around 6.5 Happy Punting :)

Re: Midweek Evo Stik and Ryman Premier games 1st-3rd September Witton 6/4 against Halesowen. I like the price of this and believe managerless Witton will be to strong at home tonight. Halesowen did manage to grab 3 points away at Barwell a few weeks back but i think Witton will be to strong and after easily beating Marine last week they seem to be finding their form from pre season. Also the loan signing of Josh Hancock will be a massive coup for them, add Hancock to the likes of Howard, Powell and Harvey, the Witton side is starting to look strong and could be well be aiming for the play offs.

Re: Midweek Evo Stik and Ryman Premier games 1st-3rd September Scouse Joe has the only winner on a quiet thread. Margate looked every bit champions in the first half against Dulwich as they were in total control of the game. 2nd half was a different story though as Dulwich got a grip on the game and Margate became very sloppy, giving the ball away easily and Dulwich seemingly wanted it more. The winner came with what was basically the last kick of the game and although Margate did have a shot cleared off the line they didn't pose much of a threat in the 2nd half. In the end you have to say the home side deserved it. Hopefully it is a kick up the backside for Margate as they clearly have the talent to walk this league.

Re: Midweek Evo Stik and Ryman Premier games 1st-3rd September Sorry guys my two failed and was a poor evening. Matlock played poorly and created next to nothing. The Frickley goal came as a mistake from a free kick as the Matlock defense were playing 'statues'. Allott was a pest all game and as feared he was the one who sneaked in to score.
