boreas04 Posted August 5, 2014 Share Posted August 5, 2014 Slovakia vs Iran @ 18:00 CET, August the 5th, Tuesday Iran is still preparing for the World Cup to start at the end of August, having some decent games (including a triumphant Asian Cup campaign) under belt, while Slovakia basicly plays for nothing here. Slovakian team is missing key players Rancik brothers, as well as Gavel, whose absences mean huge blow for the European side. Meanwhile, Iran have the services of Bahrami, Davoudi and Nassajpour back after the trio missed the Asian Cup, so they are much stronger now. Iran is surely the more quality and better prepared team here. I expect Iran to win this match and to win it big. Fair odds on Iran are 1.25-1.30 imo.
